Yes, it is a NHRA comp eliminator car. It was in the 12 port news. If memory serves me right. The basic 3-2 barrel carbed in a 1850 lb tube chassis. 8.70-8.80s in the 1/4.

What gets me is this if the comp eliminator (real gear head class) guys think its a killer engine - surely the one group dedicated to inline engine would be adopting it.

The offroad toyota/jeep guys are swapping this engines in increasing numbers...

I have my opinion why....but opinions are like as-holes everybody's got one . I dont have one either because my 292 seems to be doing a decent job right now. Plus, that motor will not fit in our truck.

Charlie Stwart is the guy I was thinking of. I guess Jason maybe his son. COMP461 is a guy I see all over the fourms bragging about all this stuff. I dont know if he ownes a car or not. He maybe somebody's crew member trying dazzle everyone with his brilliance. Real hard core comp guys don't brag on the internet about this stuff. Some really cool stuff though.
