The first benefit to keeping the inline is that you get all of us for friends and we'll help you. Next is that your car won't just be another 350/350 and blend into the crowd. Most important is the fun of taking "the road less traveled". Being different just to be different is as meaningless as being the same just because it is easy, but taking another route because you enjoy making the most of what you already have can be it's own reward. I got into this partly because the cars I could afford had sixes and it was in those days cheaper to build the 6 I had than to buy, build, and convert to a V8.
