Hank, Panic -
No need to get fancy, what I'm saying is, the standard "v8 style" 14" x 2" air cleaner fits right on there. The bottom is about 1/2" above the valve cover so it clears just fine. The stud on mine would take about a 2-1/2" filter so that might work too, although I do remember trying a 3" filter and the lid hits the hood.
But a 14x2 round is enough air for maybe 230-240hp anyway, probably could even use it up to 300hp or so without losing even a fenderlength.
