Cool air cleaner (and decal)!
Almost looks like the old Hudson Twin-H power.
My rule-of-thumb is, use 1" of filter for each 100hp gross.
That's on a 14" round air cleaner.
Its a little more complex but that rule is easy to remember.
Obviously you can get away with less, as the factory often did, but it starts hurting with less than that.
So 1"x14"round = pi*14" or about 43 sq in of filter area per 100hp.
And of course it depends on how efficient the filter is too.
The Cool Factor of yours has to add a few horsepower anyway!
