the air cleaner assembly is from a 5.0 out of a first gen (70')bronco,,so the throat and neck I thought would be plenty for the six,the full radius you see was the diameter of the element that hung below the base beside the v8's valve cover,imagine the carb in the middle, the pancake flat filter i have fitted up in the housing was for a wrx,, those crazy cars were faster than belief, i thought that would be plenty of air and with the k & n product to flow more,,, as I research now, those cars created anywhere 200-256 hp all over the board with a 2.5l, maybe I am choking this 250 combo down,,mmmm?, I not at home now but that thing is about 12" dia,,,113 square inches,,it is cool looking but I have too much in that combo to choke it,,so a 14" dia 2" tall is 88" of surface,,mmmm?
