Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines partial VIN help on a couple 292 engines

Recently picked up a couple 292 engines. I have the stamped partial VIN and wondering if anybody could look them up to tell me what they were out of (yeah, I know.... trucks) hoping for more details. The old Motors manuals had the suffix codes, but I don't have any for trucks.

Engine 1:
Block casting:377129
Date Code: B27 (1977)
Partial VIN: F0216THH

Engine 2:
Block Casting: 3851659
Date code: F305 (1965 or 1975?...guessing '65 due to 153t flexplate, and straight across starter)
Partial VIN: FO702UH
