Imagine a carb like this made for our inline engines imagine the throttle bores opend front to back, linkage would be a breeze, removable top to make jet change a breeze, set them up more like the Edelbrock with metering rods. Easy float adjustment, easy adjustment on the mechanical secondaries. Of course I am not engineer just a dreamer

Yeah, they were made by Solex. The HP upgrade carb from Weber was their IDF series of downdraft.

here is photoshop of what it could look like, cleaner than two Holleys. BUT I think done right with right carb size it would be awesome, nice to have floats not hanging off the side, I think if made in a 400, 500, 600 650, and 700CFM it would be awesome, too of them look killer on a V8 too
