Anyone have a good cure for the slipping of the collar on the rod that is the adjustor for the shifter position. Can't seem to make it stay in the right place. Even tried to put a u-bolt around it and tighten the hell out if it still slips after a month or so. It is right where the column shift lever comes out of fire wall and connects to the rod going down to the powerglide transmission.
