Hello.

I picked up a '69 Chevy C10 a few weeks ago. It has a 292 but it doesn't appear to be the original block. From what I can tell the casting number 93411167 indicates it's made after '75. The distributor pad number MO8(or 3)20ISZ doesn't match anything I've been able to dig through. Any ideas as to the plant, age and what it was mated to?

Martin, I was just looking at the Casting numbers links, and you probably have as much info at I've been able to find without downloading a bunch of stuff. You might drop Tom Langdon an email and ask him. If he doesn't know, nobody does.

By the way, I sent you a PM a couple months ago about an aluminum valve cover for your wagon. Are you interested, or did you already get a valve cover?
