I’m really, REALLY, struggling with this decision... currently I have a crate 350 in my 55. This winter, I was planning on installing twin turbo... but the inline is sitting in the corner of the garage, just calling my name!
I love the inline! And adding the turbo increased the love!

Should I add the twins to the boring V8?
Should I swap to the 250 w turbo?

Ultimate goal is a reliable driver that has some serious git up!

Honest thoughts?

My first inclination would be the turbo and the inliner, but then I'd remember the old racer's axiom, "The only substitute for cubic inches is cubic money!"

It IS nice to have options!! Decisions! Decisions!!

Well, it’s begun!
The V8 is now sitting in the driveway and the L6 in nestled in the engine bay. I’m making mounts for it tomorrow.
Engine will be at the builders next month. Head is finished.
Having some trouble finding a 292 exhaust manifold ☹️ But, that’s not priority just now.
I’m stoked for this!

.030” over 250
Polished and shot peened Rods with ARP bolts
Forged pistons
Turbo cam from 12bolt
Offy intake
Still looking for a 292 exhaust manifold
GT35 turbo @ 15 psi

Numbers tell me a 500 cfm carb will work perfect... I’ve got one on hold. I also have an edelbrock and a Holley DP... to sure which to use.

700R4 2500 stall
9” with 3.73
28 x 10.5 tires
