I've gotten distracted, or maybe I'm procrastinating from my other tasks. I ran a compression test today. before the test I idled the car a little over 5 minutes, half with choke high speed idle on.

Plugs 1&2 are completely blackened and carbon fouled. The remaining aren't as tan as is like, but it wwas still warming up. Thoughts?

The cylinders are all 170-180, looking good.

The engine is 250, bored .040, flat top pistons, moderate cam.

What's your compression?

ALWAYS get the engine off of choke as quickly as it will let you!! Compression looks good!! Stick some fresh plugs in it and get your mixtures right.
