Has anyone had issues sealing the Offy 4 barrel intake to an exhaust manifold?
I do not have the required room on the intake to use a nut on the stud coming up from the exhaust. On both head side studs!!
Was thinking about using a helicoil in the intake side and drilling out the exhaust side. Then using a cap screw from the bottom side.
And/or, make a plate that fits snugly into the opening on the exhaust and welding it in place. The the gasket is simply a spacer for alignment at the ports.
Do either of these sound reasonable?
Anyone have a better solution?
