Inliners International Forums General Discussion Drive Train T56(LS version) with a 250

Has anyone put a T56 trans on the back of a 250? I have an LS version that was recently rebuilt with new clutch and hydraulic throwout (and flywheel but I believe that will need to be changed). I'm wondering what else I will need to make it work in a 64 Chevy II.

To use an older transmission on a LS motor you have to use a spacer between the crankshaft and flexplate or flywheel. So you may get away with trimming the input shaft.
