Inliners International Forums General Discussion Hi Performance Injection or carbs

Still rounding up parts for my 292 ci drag motor and wondering if anyone has run mechanical injection on in-line 6? Are they available, pros and cons?? Make more power over triple deuces or a single 4 barrel?? I plan to run lots of compression and alcohol probably if that makes a difference on feedback.

I'm building a 292 with 4-71 blower and 3 2 BbL carbs set up progressive. Every dyno shootout I have seen carbs beat EFI. It's most likely due to the temp drops with the fuel atomization, up to 40 deg.This allows me to not run an intercooler.On race fuel I expect 750-800 HP. They are a pain to set up so that's probably the EFI thing. I like the look a lot more and chicks dig them. Never forget shiney is more aerodynamic.
