Did you find your 235? I need to double check if it is "spoken for" but I have a 1962 235 - casting # 3769716 Date code# F182 (Jun 18, 1962); sitting in a shop in Post falls ID, that I would let go of very reasonable, if the other guy doesn't want it. I picked up a rebuilt 1956 235 for my project and can't really run double motors in the 47 Fleetmaster I'm working on.
It is 800 miles away from you, but I could make the price right if you want it and the shop where it is presently doesn't need/want it for another project.
The engine in question was running strong when it came out of my build about a year and a half ago. Would come complete with carter 1 barrel, stock intake, stock exhaust and the stock fixins that were on it at the time.

Talked to Noah (shop owner) and he said he is a long way off from swapping out his 216. He does want it for his 52, if it is still around in a year or two. If you want it now let me know.

There's also this on ebay if it works better for you. They do want more for it than I would ask, but might be closer to pick up.

I do still have it if you are interested. How does 300 sound? Just so you know, it does show wear in the cylinder. How much I don't know and it hasn't had a mic. put on it to check. Pretty sure would need to be bored. Possibly even sleeved, though it ran strong when I took delivery.
You would need to talk to Noah about prep and shipping as a separate issue. You can call him to discuss it at
