I'm going to be putting together a chevy 250 and I have a camshaft that I got in some horsetrading and I'd like to use it if it makes sense. It is an Iskey 231256, .492 lift, 256 duration, 112 lobe center.
https://iskycams.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=127&products_id=367What effect will this cam have on power, peak torque rpm, and fuel economy in comparison to a stock cam? Does this cam have any advantages over a stock cam? I'm especially interested the peak torque rmp so I can determine what rear gears I'll need to be looking for. Thanks for any expertise you can offer.
