Does anyone have any experience with tuning the 32/36 for a chevy 153, (or 120 mercruiser?). I'm looking for a place to start on a stock motor using an adaptor. I do have a Clifford intake for this, but until I get to building a header, (maybe this winter, maybe next), I'd like to run it stock. Cliffords asked $489 for that header these days, a little above my budget, and no good way to know if it would hit the target area for the exhaust without buying one.

Try a 1974 Ford Pinto Holley/Weber carb. Designed for a four cylinder. Same design as the 32/36 weber, made by Holley under a license from Weber, for a 4 cylinder application. Also used on the Chevy Vega and Mercury Capri. I will bet it runs fine right out of box with no re-jetting needed.
