Would anyone happen to have a set of .030 261 pistons they might be willing to sell? I am really looking for something high performance, forged flat top or pop up, but stock might have to do for the time being. Have a 57 chevy my son and I are building for him. Car is coming along faster then expected. He wants to take the car to the trifive nationals in August along with my own 70s ear high school 261 powered 57. We had originally wanted to install a 292 in his car but we are quickly running out of time and thus not enough time to fabricate front motor mounts and headers.

So I have one last 261 block in my pile of junk and enough fun parts to build a motor (clifford long tube headers, schneider cam 280- 480, weiand intake with two holley Weber 5200 carbs) plus all the regular parts to finish it up (bearings, gaskets, rockers, lifters).

The one item I am missing is some decent pistons.

Many thanks! Had my fingers crossed someone had some old Jahns pop ups, or used Ross pop ups.

I'm sure they are out there somewhere. Finding them involves searching and a lot of luck. I wish you luck! cool
