My GMC 302 main rear seal is leaking badly. My GMC Maintenance Manual calls for an Oil Seal Mandrel made from hard wood or other solid material for installing the seals.
Anyone have such a tool? Where can I get one? Is there any work around tool? It looks like an exercise weight with round weights on each end sized to match the front and rear oil seal diameters. Overall length is 12 inches.

I've never used or ever seen one. I have messaged them into place with a hammer handle to other smooth piece of wood. The set made by Best Gasket is much better than the rest. There is a way to use some MOPAR seal but machine work is involved.
