A fellow over at the Stove Bolt Page mentioned the L22 six cylinder engine.I was asking if anyone knew where to find a dual breaker plate for a later Chev inline..(250-292 et)..Can anyone tell me about this L22 and where to find the breaker plate ...if its even made..............I swear I saw an ad in Old Cars Weekly about dual breaker plates for Delco inline distributors.....Thanks a ton....Al...

Dear Al;

Dual point conversions were only effective on the old 6V systems of the 40s & 50s. When Chevy went to 12V in 1955 all that changed etc. The stock ignition there is okay for most street use.
