Dear Tom;

I've often wondered the same ting as they had a 12 port head too.

I guess; By the time they came to be, the "muscle car era" was in 'full swing' and inline 6s weren't popular etc.

What can I say? If the price is right, get it. ;\)

That means 4bbl carb , right ? I don't think my buddie's is a 4 bbl engine . I'm looking for something neat to put it in . I'd like to find an old Pontiac station-wagon .

The engine pictured on the site Firebirdst suggested is a beautiful thing , all polished & painted up . I've found a second engine since my first post . Complete but stuck from sitting for several years , stored inside , & covered . Maybe it is meant for me to have a couple , you think ? \:\)

T;

Well if your serious about building one, It's always better to have 'extra parts' than not enough.

Hot Rod magazine did a some articles on those in the mid 60s. Looking there might help.

Let us all know what you find.
