I was thinking the other day about the old 240 Z carb setup. Has anyone thought about adapting this setup to a 235 or 261? Displacement is about the same and could be an interesting alternative to the spendy, but way cool DCOE Webers.

The 235 is 1.6 times the size of the 240 Z. You would need the three S.U.s from a 3.8L Jaguar which would be the same size as the 235 Chevy.

You chevy guys have problems we flathead users don't. I think a Z made some where around 180- 200 HP. It doesn't matter how many cubes you have, if your target range is close to that HP number those carbs should work good beacuse you can only mix so much air with so much gas. They might be a bit too much for a 251 Mopar; they only flow as much air (in stock form) as a honda civic (but it would be fun to find out!).
