I have a freind with a 292 in his truck. When he put headers on he had to cut the power steering mount up pretty bad. He does not have the time to take the bracket off so I can measure it or fix it he needs to drive the truck. I have tried to find another bracket but they seem to be hard to find. I need info on making a new one. Pictures would be nice. If I make one I can make more.

Hi Slow Go,

I was able to win a bracket and punp on Ebay. I should be getting it this next week and will be taking it apart to clean and paint it. I will take some pictures for you and draw out the parts for you if you wish. I know how you feel trying to find one. It took me for ever and a lot of luck to find one on Ebay.

Thanks that would be great. I hope make 10 or so and sell at cost to the 6-cylinder guys. Do you know the differences between the 250 bracket and 292. I also heard there is a difference between the older 292 bracket and the newer one is this true.
