Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines Later Intake on a GMC 302?

A resent post had a comment that any 194-292 manifold can be worked to fit a GMC 302.

Can anyone comment on what is needed to do this? Difficult? This would really open up the choices for intake manifolds. Thanks

This is probably not a very good idea, as the 302 ports are circle shaped and the 250/292 is more square shaped. Could maybe be done , but will take some fabricating of port adapters and cutting/welding. Have you checked out Patricks intake for the 302? I use a Clifford WH, not sure if they still got them, make a call. Check out with Larrowe and sons too.Theese are single 4-barrel carb intakes.
