Does anybody know where I can find a Flywheel cover for a 69 Chevy 250 with a 5 speed manual trans? The bell housing contained a 3 speed. All I have run across online are for auto trans.
I was trying to avoid crawling under trucks in the junk yard, but I may be headed out that way.

If that is the original 3 speed bell housing and is the 2 piece cast iron bellhousing with the side mounts then the dust cover may well be the same as a 55 - 57 Chevy car V8 standard shift bellhousing. The basic difference was in the machined pads and holes for the rear motor mounts.

If none of our advertisers can help you then try an outfit that deals in 55 - 57 Chevy resto stuff.

The 5 speed won't make any difference to the dust cover. The cover from any truck from about 1960 up to 1972 with a std trans should be the same cover. There will be 4- 1/4" screw (7/16 wrench)that hold it on.
