Does anyone know where this is from?
Looks like it is adjustable.
Aftermarket maybe?

Dear Frank;

Those were used on the first 216s in 1937-38.

The hand adjustment was an "octane adjustment" that was needed in some parts of the US back then.

Just before the war (WWII) they (GM) changed to the one that was used till 1963.
