Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines ok im sure this ones been beat to death

I have a 270 im putting into my 55 1st series
problem is every catalog or web site ect..... only has 235 or 261. so do these parts bolt right up to my 270? do i need to mod? or is there somewhere out there that is a dedicated 270 source please help me!!!!!!

Look at Patrick's in Casa Grande for a catalog. Basically, no Chevy parts in front of the bellhousing fit the 270.

XER-, Only snag is the front motor mount, bellhousing will bolt up. You will have to fab up the front mount to fit the Jimmy, no biggy lots have done this swap. Only Chevy item that will fit is the distributor.
Oh, another snag will be the radiator, will need to move foreward or remove the fan and stick an electric unit out front.
