i am building a 55 235, and i was planing on running a coil so i was trying to figure out what would be the best dis. Motor is pretty much stock, planning on running dual carbs and headers. i have the stock one but hasnt been put to use since the 80's. what should i do

btw i am also looking at running an adapter to run the th350 who should i buy the adapter from and any other places to but the tranny crossmeber from other than building one

so could i just clean it up and change the cap and stuff and it should work???

should work great especially with the mods you describe.

some of the others that know this stuff might chime in (Jim, John, walt, T6 etc) and offer an opinion too.

thanks for the info and yes it is a 55 sedan so you are saying i can run front motor mounts and a rear tranny mount? if i cant use the from mounts and a rear tranny mount what would u suggest change it to side motor mounts? it is a 3 speed, i am re doing the entire car and i thought why not update the tranny

Another good source for stange adapters is Larrowe and Sons out of Sandy Or. he helped me match a 250 to a 40 chevy and he has a really nice supercharged 30's chevy

thanks for the help i thought about runnin a t-5 but the price seemed higher.
what year model car could i get one from that would work best? maybe that would be best for me other than try to clean up the 3 speed or buying an adapter and fabbin up mounts
thanks for all the help one more time ive been kind of coming at this blind no one i knows deals with inlines much
