on my c10 (I think it's a 230) what kind of compression am I looking for? What should the dwell on my points be at? ~j

I would guess; 120# pressure, .018 points and .035 on your plugs.

If you visit your local Library they will have a Motors Manual & a copy machine. Simply look up your engine and copy that page for future.

John M. is right, and if you're like me, you'll find the information in the manual so interesting you'll want one too! John M. pointed me in that direction and I was able to get a fairly nice one off ebay for around $20
