Inliners International Forums General Discussion Drive Train Hard shifting, worn syncros???

Have done some mods to my stock 47, 3 speed trans, new linkage etc, but shifts hard into gears and especialy out of 3rd. Does this sound like bad syncros or something else? Should I try an aditive to trans fluid?

Dear Jim;

First check & see if the clutch is disengaging fully etc.

If the trans was okay before then make sure your new linkage isn't binding. If it has all new bushings a little lubricant will probably help unil it wears a little.
