I need a clutch pedal return spring for a '49 - '54 car. I've managed to lose mine............. \:\(

Does anybody know a supplier, have one, or know what I can use as a replacement???

The only local parts car is a Poweglide.............

I would think any vehicle of that vintage would have something that could be used. Did you look at any 47-59 trucks?

Did you look at any parts catalogs/websites?

Some better stocked hardware stores carry strong enough springs...

hardware & auto parts stores have universal springs that will work. coat hanger wire cut to length & bent will work to connect it. stainless steel tig welding rod is even better.

Ducky, Did you try checking East Coast Chevy over at the airport? I don't think that just because they specialize in 55-57 doesn't mean they can't help.
