I decided that I am going to stick with the 11" clutch cover for my 235, but now have a different question. I have noticed that there are two different kinds of covers. I dont know the name of the one on my car, but found a different one called a Diaphragm type. What is the differnce between these two stock clutch covers?

Dear Dan;

All (stock) 235 clutchs are the 'diaphram' type. These are the ones with several little fingers.

The (other) type is the Borg & Beck design which uses coil springs and has 3 fingers.

The stock design is what you want.

The other type is for larger engines/loads and different applications.

Good luck. \:\)
