I see there is a book available for inliners, like the inline six power manual? Does it cover any of the 235/261 stuff, or is it all 230/250/292? I don't want to plunk down the $20 if it wont help.

You can get a reprint of a performance book for the 235/261 series inline 6s by California Bill Fisher. It was written in the 1950s, and is out of print, but still readily available today. It's called "California Bill's Chevrolet, GMC & Buick Speed Manual" I have a copy and in my opinion it's a great book - simply written with no unnecessary complex jargon for us simple types. -magic mike-

Dear Joe;
There were 3 of these books in the 1950s.
The one by Bill Fisher, Floyd Clymer and Frank McGurk printed one too.
I had 2 out of the 3 at one time. Hard to find nowdays.
