Mike Collison is the new owner of the #1950 Buick that has raced at Maxton N.C. and at the Bonneville salt flats. We have been making a few changes to make it go faster. We have added an air dam, new cow catcher (to make it legal in the competition coupe class), new bonneville Good Year tires 28" size for the rear. New aluminum radiator tom help cool it. He hopes to run 150 MPH. Wish him and his brother Rich good luck.

Yes we will. My Daughter is the web site manager and she is very busy.

WE are in the process of loading for the trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats. We are leaving tomarrow noon, will arrive in Wendover, UT around noon Friday.

We have made it to Evanston Wyoming. Had to replace the fan clutch on my 2000 Ford Diesel in Grand Island, Nebraska this morning. Will be in no hurry to get on the salt tomarrow.

Well, the latest course update is that the salt courses are drying and 70+ vehicles have registered so far. Looks like it'll be a great week of time trials.Best of Luck.

The Buick got 3 records at Speed Week, the fastest record was 142 MPH, great job the Collison Brothers did. My car suffered again this year, came home with a broken engine, well that's racing, will try again.

I had posted the SCTA records in Bench Racing, but must have missed one of them. Congrats and sorry at the the same time. Like you say."That's racing".
