well. i finally made some visible progress.

now. before you point fingers are my lack of skill...remember. i'm to the point of no return. i just want to get it back together, and drive it. haha.

so, i give you..2 semi-repaired inner fenders.

shot with gloss black industrial krylon...have a whole 5 gallon bucket full...muwahah. along with safety red. can we say, truck colors?

yes. they're patched. with a 110V lincoln fluxcore. its ugly. i didn't bother to grind the welds. yep.

shinnnyyyyy.

not too hsabby. and to draw eyes away from the ugliness...i plan on painting some cards on the fenders.

cards you may ask? yes. cards. 2's. as in, Deuces Wild, kinda thing. maybe with a bowtie worked in..but yes. thats my plan.

lemme know whatcha think.

.later days.
.sam.

Don't worry about what others think and do what you need to do. My only advice is make sure you are happy with it. From personal experience, some of my early work looked good enough at the beginning, but looked like poop when I was near the end. Had to redo a lot of it to make it nice enough to match my later work...

Sam, Looks fine to me.....you should see my inner fender patch job. I don't have a welder,so..... I bolted mine in!!!!!!!! Don't laugh, they look better than they did with the rust holes, and, no more road grime gets splashed in my engine compartment when it rains!!! \:D It's like you said , you just want to get it back together and drive it. God bless,

Frank

Mine are pretty good shape but need to be cleaned up and painted. I haven't been looking forward to this at all but who else is going to do it for me? Might as well get started.
