Catdog-

I'm using a sony mini DV camera, and mac based software called Final Cut Express. A client of mine won the software at a computer "camp", and had no use for it so gave it to me. It is a high end video editing software far more capable that I...

The software captures the raw footage directly from the camera. Then you can edit out the footage that you don't want, add cross fades, music, etc.

Once I have the clip exported from the software to a web friendly Quicktime format, I upload it to my server space with Fetch, a free FTP software available on the net.

There are similar applications for PC based computers, and all in all, it is fairly easy once you figure it out for the first time...
