I'm in the process of building a '52 AD truck and was wondering how much it will weigh when completed?

In stock form it would be 4200# Gross Wt. according to my manual.So if you subtract the payload that would make it about 3200# ??? Is that right,anyone? It could be higher if the truck had a higher rated spring and tire combo.

Gentlemen;
Let's don't confuse the weight(s) here.
The GVWR on the hinge post tag is the maximum weight the truck can be loaded (with payload).
The weight I think (in question)here is the unladen weight. For this you have to weigh the vehicle at a truck scale etc.
If a GM manual says 3140#, that's the 'factory ' weight.
"Spliting hairs" I know, but to a novice this is often confusing.
