Hi everyone

I really enjoy learning from everyone on this site. I thought I would let you know I desided to list my 54 chevy on ebay the item # is 270169457864 Just thought someone out there might like to take a look. I have had this truck since 1999 and used it as a daily driver 216 with a T-5 tranny. With the help from a lot of good people her at inliners I have learned a lot. Like I said just thought someone out there might like to take a look.
Thanks for all the support I have received from you all.

BE;

It could have been a 54 (model year) built in late 1953, using up the last of the 'old style' engines etc.

East/West coast vehicles were often different too.

Hard to say at this point in time etc.

Happy trails. \:\)

Actually if you read his ebay sale it's a titled 1947 with a 54 rebody. Last I checked it was at $2800. Probably is a nice driver from the description.

Hi
My truck as it said in the ad is a 47 the original motor in the 47 was the 216. It has a 54 cab and front with 54 grill. Title is 47 and frame is 47 along with bed. I call it my 54 because most people think it is a 54. It rides really nice with that T-5 in it. It sold for 3255.69. which I think is a really good price for the buyer, because it runs so nice. Thanks to all who took a look. I will miss driving this truck as most of you know when you own a truck like this it becomes part of you. I will Just have to spend more time in my 54 GMC 3/4 ton. From what I understand the new owner is going to restore it and I wish him luck. I had to sell it in order to take the funds and finish my 53 station wagon I will try and post pictures when it comes a little more along.

Thanks again Steve
