I have a 1 bbl Rochester on my 292 that I bought around a year ago. When I slow to a stop my RPMs drop. The harder I slow down, the more the engine speed slows, and if I come to a hard stop the motor dies. It has to be in the carburetor, because I just had the motor rebuilt and drove it for the first time today. I have adjusted the float, but that didn't change anything. Do I have the wrong carburetor, or is there some way I need to set it up differently? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I figure you inline gurus would be the ones to ask!
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
