I've got my motor out and ready to take it to the machine shop. He quoted me $1100 for all block and head work, pistons, rings, cam and lifters, and assembly. Is that a good price for a '67 250L6?

Well now it's more like $1400. He's going to bore it out, magnaflux, valve cutting, machine the deck for higher compression, pretty much everything including bigger cam set, pistons, oil pump, valves and springs. It's through a friend of a friend who's supposed to do awesome work.
