Here is the numbers:

I'm really happy about it!!

Congrats!!!!!
Is that a roll cage in there?
How much does it weigh now?
We need specs on engine,compression,cam specs,size engine,valve sizes,gear ratio rear axle, & so-on.

We are going to copy it to make a daily driver here for the US. J.K.

Congratulations! That's one very fast little Chevy. I wish they sold those in the USA, but all the really good stuff seems to wind up in other countries.......well, OK, there is the Corvette here, but it would be nice to have those little sport coupes like yours here too.

It's amazing you do not break away traction and spin the tires with your power and those narrow tires.Congratulations!

Congrats, my southern Inline Friend. Muchas Gracias.

I've known for a long time that when everything is not "off -the-shelf", then innovation comes on strong. We "Lucky" individuals here in the U.S.A. have lots of opportunities, access and excess of things. When you take a step out of this country, your eyes become wide open to all of the possibilities that you never even thought about. I've never lived outside the US but have several friends you do. The look from the outside in is enlightening!

Douglas, job well done! Many friends here would love to run 11's in a supercharged Hemi Cuda let alone a stock looking GM vehicle.
Keep us informed on your sucesses and your failures too. We learn a lot from what doen't work.

Thanks Guys!!

So... The engine is a 250 bored, using stock 4".040 from the 4cyl 151 chevy engine, stock 5,7" rods, stock cast iron crankshaft. 1.94 and 1.60 stainless steel valves, Crane Gold Aluminum 1.70 ratio rocker arms, 6005 iskenderian valve springs and 310/320 Crane Mechanical Camshaft.
The cylinder head is a stock unit, full ported with NO lump ports. It have 3 weber 40mm IDF carburetors, running on pure methanol. Compression ratio is 15,5:1. Ignition is a MSD 6AL unit, with Mallory Unilite distributor and Mallory Pro Master coil. NGK Iridium 9 sparks and MSD 8.8 spark plugs!!
The car generates 371hp at the wheels, and use 3.90:1 rear end gear ratio. It have also a manual transmission, called Clarck 260F, four speed.

Here is some videos from the race that we set the new record...

Douglas,

Great job. Good to see your hard work payed off. Did you happen to measure your cylinder wall thickness before or after your bored the cylinders out to 4.040"?
