Do Aluminum pumps have more flow than cast or do they just look good, And what can you do to a water pump to make it better?

to flow more is not always a good thing.

i do not believe the al pumps pump more than stock. also be cautious with a 292. it really needs the plate mounted to the back side of impellor to not direct flow directly at the # 1 cylinder (causes bad wear).
