yep.. don't know how I did it... but I lost my steering wheel nut and can't seem to located it.

I've tried matching up at a couple auto parts stores and can't seem to get it right.

Can you tell me the correct size?

Does anybody know where I can get one online?

Thanks,

Trying really hard not to say something about a loose nut behind the wheel, but for what vehicle? Try http://www.fremansauto.com if it's pre-70.

Some towns have stores that only sell Nuts and Bolts. Yes it sounds crazy but these places do exist. If all else fails, you could try a machine shop. If you can find a Thread pitch gauge, get one, they cost $10 or $20

Have you tried Tacoma Screw. Probably not in their line, but you never know.

73super, I have a spare nut from a 60s truck and it appears to be a 7/16-20 Jam nut. You should be able to find that at your hardware store in the National Fine section. Hope that helps.
