Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines Are these the correct sparkplugs to use

I had to find another chevy 250 head for my rebuild.To many cracks in the other head.

Are R44XLS AC sparkplugs the correct ones to use.
Casting numbers on head 3872708.

I think AC Delco may have a chart for plugs, or somebody does...
There is a chart on inliners.org for casting numbers / year issued.

Go with Stock Plugs, if there are questions about Heat Range,
STUDY up on that before making changes.

See if you can find a chart online for your plugs.

I have looked most of the day.I should have asked what years the head was made.

If my info. is correct the head was used on 63 to 66 year model 230 engines.
