We are converting a sixies Blown Hemi AS/R to street legal and want to retain the orininal spindle mount Mag wheels, but need front brakes. Any help or ideas on mounting disks to these wheels would be welcomed.

But... isn't this a "bicycle" hub with almost no area for any attachment?
My first though is look for some motorcycle disc with a small bolt pattern. You may need to locate and tap a smaller bolt pattern (if the hub diameter is too small) and use an adapter.
I understand nostalgia, but these wheels were not a great idea even then, and putting brake torque through those spokes is scary.

Panic these are not wire spokes they are actually a solid mag wheel with ribs on the back side and small openings around the outer part of the wheel the problem is the ribs hold you away from the flat surface. These are a very stout wheels that passed spec for a 165 mph car. but you can't use a parachute on the street, it excites the drivers behind you. \:\)

This may or may not help, but these are new spindle mounts with brakes attached, http://www.radirwheels.com/12spoke4.JPG , might be safer than older wheeels???
