Can anyone tell me how the journal sizes and wrist pin holes of a 250 compare to those of a sbc (350)?
If not, can anyone tell me what the journal size and wrist pin holes of both (or either) motors are?

Basically all i'm after are the dimensions of the 'big' and 'little' holes in the rods of both those motors.
Thanks,
JP

250 big end crank pin is the GM 2.0 Same as 153 L4, 195-250 L6, 283& early 327 V8. 350 big end is GM 2.1 crank pin. Wrist pins are the same. The problem is the big end width and V8 off set. The L 4-6 rods are wider by about 0.100". The bearings are the same. Beater

Beater,
Thanks for the info. I'm not planning on trying to mix n match the rods and motors, I just want to build a fixture so I can hang (balance) the rods on one end so I can weigh them while I balance them. The big ends are close enough to use the same 'insert' that I'm going to make.
Thanks again!

Glad to be able to help. I thought you were looking, like a lot of us, for a cheap alternative to custom rod lengths for our L motors. \:\( Good luck with your project. Beater
