So I just picked up a 390CFM holley 4 barrel for my 230 I-6. I have an offenhuaser 4bbl manifold but it does have an adapter, and the carb bolt pattern is too wide to bolt on. Do you guys know what adapter I need? Let me know if you need more info, I'm new to this stuff.

Don't think that is what he is looking for. If you are handy w/a bandsaw or just a jigsaw a counter bore, dril & tap,, you could buy 1/2" alum plate & make it yourself. Or buy from Offy or possibly Langdon? here is a pic of the adaptor you need. http://stoveboltengineco.com/index.php/c...product=1222035MBHD

Yer right he needed Mr Gasket part #1932 same link. That will not bolt ( #1932 ) on unless you drill & counter sink & buy flush mount screws. Even then, not too sure it will work because it has a spread bore clearance pattern ( large sencondaries) & not enough meat for the mounting holes. It's been so long since I ran a spread bore adaptor, I know I had to modify it to use one. I am talking about using just one adaptor plate. Not using his adaptor plate & stacking another adaptor plate on top. that will equal less hood clearance,,, if that is an issue? TwoFiftyShifter, what kind of vehicle is this going on? MBHD

The 1933 can be used to adapt the Holley 2 bbl, the 1932 will adapt any 4bbl except the 4500 and is about 1" thick. His intake is an Offy so it will work.

I have bought two carb plates from T6Racing One for my offey and a 2inch 4port spacer for a clifford and Both Match up Fine. And I have to agree The clifford plate does not match to the Offey I know I tried that before an I knew he was making those plates. I will also add this Unless Offey OR clifford change the 4bolt patteren for the carb to the mainifold No they will not inter change. But I have seen some of the semi newer clifford plates have been somewhat slotted I guess that is for misalinment In the machining in of the holes the carb plate Or in the intake itself.

L6mike, I had the same experience as you and have the slotted Clifford units. It fit both intakes fine for the Dyno day runs.

I would buy one form T6 racing, http://www.t6racing.org/If they are from billet & T6 aluminum, definatley get it. I used the Offy adaptor & it seemed soft & would distort & bend all up. Was not happy w/the Offy adaptor @ all. Two cents thrown. MBHD

This is going on a 1964 GMC pickup, I'm not worried about hood clearence. Couldnt find an adapter on the T6 site so I will call them. I did find this - the intake I have listed as a kit in jegs, and it looks like it comes with the adapter I need. http://www.jegs.com/i/Offenhauser/750/5416/10002/-1?parentProductId=764102

Yes, give Larry a call, you do not need another intake manifold just to get the adaptor you need. As you have stated, you have the intake. MBHD

How about a TransDapt #2048 , looked at the Offy I have on a motor that uses an Edelbrock 500 and if I remember correctly I used one of these to raise the carb 2" and the bolt pattern should also fit your Holley carb.,
