Some industrial motors (230" Smith compressor, etc.) are the same series as the original.

There is quite a bit on these engines that you will find by using the "search" function. Some 24 pages. I found this which might interest you. Click here There will be other stuff, but you can rat around in there and find what interests you. This line in the bit I found will really interest you: "They can be used in any Plymouth Dodge DeSoto Chrysler car and Dodge pickup that came with a flathead 6, meaning all the six cylinder cars from 1937 to 1954 plus Plymouth and Dodge to 1959." regards,Rod

I am in the process of buying the chrysler industrial 265 listed by Norm Silver.Once it arrives,it will find a home in my 1937 Dodge 4 door sedan.I am also looking for a split intake & exhaust from a large series Dodge truck,if you know of any for sale. Thanks for the interest.Dave S.

In searching for info about flatheads, I ran across this post. The manifolds you are talking about are on the big 30" head motor, it comes in 3 and 4 ton trucks. Totally different motor, not many around, and pretty big and heavy. There may have been a very few on the smaller 25" motor, but I have not seen them.
Tom Langdon of Landon Stovebolts makes a pretty darn nice tube header for the motor you have. Comes out with the 3 front on one header, the rear 3 on the other. Cost in the $300 range. I have one he made for me recently and it's top quality.
