Inliners International Forums General Discussion Hi Performance 250 gasket set,oil pump, and water pump question

gathering the last few things to finally assemble my engine. ross pistons, eagle h-beams, decent compression, big cam. so the question is, anyone have a preference on gasket sets, i have already got the fel-pro 1025 head gasket, just need to get the rest. also looking at new water pumps, the gmb aluminum seems to be popular and is affordable but the flow kooler pump sounds interesting, more flow at idle then drops of to normal flow at higher rpm, do i really need the extra flow, anybody used one? also any opinion on oil pumps?

Fel-Pro is the only gasket sets i buy.

Felpro does make a better rubber coated valve cover gasket. Only available as a stand alone part. Not sure of #. Same type is also avaible for the side covers on 292.

The Fel-Pro kits come with Both rubber and cork gaskets in their Full gasket sets. Or aleast they used to be that way.(oil pan,side covers,Valve cover all rubber)and the 1025 head gasket not in the kits.
