I think this 32 Ford has been posted before, I but I don't recall seeing close ups of the intake/exhaust.

ITBs by Hayward Performance http://www.haywardperformance.com/index.php look to me a lot like sidedraft carbs.

The car runs low 13s with no internal engine mods. The owner thinks tha he can hit 12s with a little more fuel.

Oh man. I think I just soiled myself. Who says a modern engine can't look fabulous?

Agreed. I think that setup would look right at home in a Jag E-type or old 240z.

They're not carbs at all!
They're ITBs with the stock fuel injectors.

You and Marc are sure making it hard for us oldsters to keep rootin' for the 250/292 stuff. I bet he's got 3.55s to go with it too!

Lol, there's something to be said for the simplicity of the old engines. It's all what you want, I suppose.

Here's the pics of the car from an earlier thread:

Marc had an idea earlier to cast a valve cover that looked a little more period. I think something that would hide the coils would really complete the look on the 32 Ford. Stunning as is, though. Really makes me want to build a n/a 240z like that.

Looks like a well engineered attractive piece. But not really old school hot rod with the suspension, wheels, engine and other parts,it's a "street rod"
